MEET rACHEL

Welcome! So happy you are here. I know how hard it is to take the first step in seeking help for yourself.

My name is Rachel and I work with women who need support navigating their anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, and relationship dynamics, with a special focus on working with women during pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

After giving birth to my daughter, I found myself in the trenches of new parenthood, with a lot of unexpected changes surrounding my relationships, sense of self, routines, and career. This monumental life transition has inspired me to seek an interest in supporting women during this time. I am here to give you hope and support as you navigate these sometimes unexpected and difficult changes.

Providing a safe and supportive environment for you to work toward healing and wholeness is a priority for me.

MY APPROACH

My approach is relaxed, conversational, and direct when needed with the goal of simultaneously supporting and challenging you to explore, dig and learn.

I work from a strengths based perspective, recognizing the strengths that a person has already developed and using that as a starting point for change and growth.

I use a variety of techniques in my counseling practice, and work to find the best fit for you. I love incorporating components of Internal Family Systems’ parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Theory (DBT) techniques, in addition to somatic exercises.

I also often use humor to encourage you through the process and to break tension when needed. Together, we can help you cultivate the change you are wanting in your life.
